So this little 7 second render took 14 hours to render... Love the outcome!

Hello there. Many years ago I sketched a photo of a trailer then after it was done, I put it in a drawer.  few months ago I found that drawer and found a treasure of art I forgot about about. With my new knowledge of 3D I thought about making many of these into 3D pieces.

Here is the sketch I did.

Here is the "finished" render.

I say "finished" because I want to re texture it. This fall I am taking an advanced texturing and lighting class and plan to re texture it then. but for the most part I am overly pleased with it. I ended up changing the design but without the sketch, the inspiration wouldn't have been there.

Monsters University Car

Hello peoples! Long time no see! I was searching PIXAR concept art and came across a picture of a car they drew up and was so drawn to it I knew I to recreate it in Maya.
I would love to attempt the other two cars in the image soon.  Here is the picture I saw...

...and here is my "finished" product.

I say "finished" because as my 3D professor said, "A project is never finished, just abandoned at the dead line." I thought he was crazy for saying that then I got more into my art and I realized its true. I always want to go back and just fix one more thing...then one more thing... I look at the image above and see those things and will probably be fixing things before the day is over.
Thanks for visiting. Until next time!

Animating in Photoshop

I made this by hand animating it, then scanning the images into photoshop. I seperated the pencil from the backgrounds and then made a new plack background. I then made it into a gif. I wanted to test how easy it was to do all of this and I am really excited to try something new with this. I fell it has the feel of Night and Day that PIXAR did a few years ago. I would love to try to recreate it somehow in my own way. Well thats all I can share for now! :)
