A Little Summer Work

Hello everyone! Being summer break, I decided to take a little time off from the computer to get more hours at work and save some money, but I still had the itch to work in Maya. recently I watched a trailer for a new film that I am very excited about and got a lot of inspiration from it. Here is the first projects of many I will be working on in the next few days. This one took about 6 hours total had I sat and did it all in one sitting. Feel free to comment on things you see I could improve on or maybe do different.

Monsters University Car

Hello peoples! Long time no see! I was searching PIXAR concept art and came across a picture of a car they drew up and was so drawn to it I knew I to recreate it in Maya.
I would love to attempt the other two cars in the image soon.  Here is the picture I saw...

...and here is my "finished" product.

I say "finished" because as my 3D professor said, "A project is never finished, just abandoned at the dead line." I thought he was crazy for saying that then I got more into my art and I realized its true. I always want to go back and just fix one more thing...then one more thing... I look at the image above and see those things and will probably be fixing things before the day is over.

Thanks for visiting. Until next time!
